How to Use Your SmoothPress PRO

Steam when you want it. Press when you need it. Here's how to get the best of both.

1. Fill It Up

Remove the water tank and fill it with water. For smoother steam and less mineral buildup, use Steam & Go Demineralized Water.

2. Let It Heat Up

Plug it in, turn it on, and give it a moment to heat up. Choose from five steam levels depending on the fabric.

3. Start with Steam

Hang your garment and glide the SmoothPress PRO slowly over the fabric, letting the steam relax wrinkles as you go.

4. Add a Little Press

For collars, cuffs, hems, or anywhere you want a crisper finish, use the heated panel to press things smooth.

5. Fold It Up and Go

Traveling? Fold it down and bring it along. Its compact design makes it easy to tuck into a suitcase for touch-ups away from home.

When You're Done

Turn it off, unplug it, and let it cool completely before storing. If it won't be used for a while, empty any water left in the tank.

To keep your Steam & Go SmoothPress PRO performing at its best, use distilled or Steam & Go Demineralized Water whenever possible to help minimize mineral buildup and extend the life of the steamer.

For best results:

Empty the water tank after each use.
Allow the unit to cool completely before storing.
Wipe the steam plate with a soft, damp cloth after it has cooled.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

This handheld garment steamer and iron combo is so incredibly nice! I was in desperate need of something reliable to quickly remove wrinkles from our clothes, because I don’t have an iron.
