    Just read Jacob’s review

I don’t know much about Steam and Go’s customer service but as far as Jacob’s review, here’s some professional input from a person in the home textile manufacturing industry. When you have equipment that you spend good money to purchase, you should take care of it. We use distilled water every time so you don’t get a lot of mineral build up in the tank. Additionally, the Steam and Go has to be cleaned out every 3-6 months possibly only yearly depending on how often you use it. The base comes off and we empty it out from the bottom which has all the mineral deposit that you don’t want in your steamer. If you clean this out you won’t get spitting. We have never gotten rust so if you did, then clean it out with white vinegar and don’t fill the tank with sink water. They don’t tell you this in the instructions but they probably should. I had a mom that took care of things and showed us this process of using distilled water and cleaning our tea pots, vaporizers, irons and other water usage appliances with vinegar now and then. I hope this helps.

We Love This Fabric Steamer System

This is one of our favorite items ever in our laundry department. What would take at least 2-3 hours of ironing, we can do in 20-25 minutes. The fabric is wrinkle free in seconds and when you have a corner, collar, sleeve, etc you put it down on the ironing board and the hot iron with the added steam power presses perfectly. We use it for steaming bed sheets, pillow cases, duvets, shams and large sewing projects. Love this!

save your money; I regret this!!

Don't buy this product; it works decently well for a few months and then really shows how poor the quality. The coating completely came off the iron, and it is most likely rusting from the inside out (ruined several of my white shirts when it spit out some orange-y liquid). Purchase something else; the company is wildly unhelpful when you call them for help.
